Welcome toLydshaw Bed & Breakfast North Devon

Bed & Breakfast North Devon

You are always assured of a warm and friendly welcome from Joanne and Jem who run the fantastic Lydshaw Bed & Breakfast House in North Devon. Personally endeavouring to make your stay a truly memorable one with so much more hospitality and thoughtful little touches, Lydshaw Bed and Breakfast sits well above the rest... and that's not just the sea views. Warm, clean and comfortable accommodation is complimented by excellent food prepared from locally sourced produce and all cooked to perfection, just as you like.

Wonderful Food at Lydshaw Bed & Breakfast in North Devon

Lydshaw Bed and Breakfast in North Devon is located in the village of Northam which lies between the ancient port and market town of Bideford, and the seaside resort  of Westward Ho!, a village made famous by Charles Kingsley’s book of the same name. Lydshaw is situated in a quiet private lane with absolutely stunning panoramic sea views overlooking Bideford Bay and beyond.

Stunning Sea Views at Lydshaw Bed & Breakfast North Devon

Your magnificent vista encompasses the landscape stretching from Baggy Point to Hartland Point incorporating Westward Ho! Beach and Saunton Sands. Northam Burrows - a nature reserve and home of the Royal North Devon Golf Club, the oldest course in the country. The river Taw and Torridge estuary and the quaint, picturesque, old fishing village of Appledore with its narrow streets and pretty cottages.

You are welcome to sit in the garden and enjoy these stunning sea views or relax in the conservatory whilst watching the sunset over Lundy Island.

Panoramic Sea Views of the North Devon coastline

The village of Northam which is a 10 minute walk away has a pub, restaurant, ‘takeaways’ and shops, as do Bideford, Westward Ho! and Appledore – all within a mile radius. The South West Coastal Path is also within walking distance and in addition to being ideally located for the beach and local amenities, Lydshaw is the perfect base for exploring North Devon and all it has to offer.

Come and enjoy!
